The Global DBS Director, EMEA provides leadership for all Cytiva DBS activities focused on lean, growth, and leadership. This role provides cross-functional DBS strategy and leadership to Innovation Growth and Lean Operational DBSL's. This leader also engages with Business Unit, commercial, and functional leaders to identify and continuously improve commercial processes where performance improvements are lacking. Provides coaching and training of direct staff as they enable process improvements and sustainment of stronger results through the use of DBS tools, analytics, and improved commercial performance reporting. The Global DBS Director, EMEA is responsible for supporting, advising and/or consulting on a variety of aspects of transition services for Cytiva. These aspects include: + Facilitating the creation of Cytiva DBS Priorities + Establishing processes to ensure DBS event/kaizen chartering, facilitation, and sustainment monitoring + Ensuring consistency across Innovation, Operations/Supply Chain, Commercial, and Functional DBS development and execution + and various other support initiatives as deemed necessary by leadership In some cases shown above, the Global DBS Director, EMEA will own and/or be solely responsible for the responsibility. And, in some cases, the Global DBS Director, EMEA will collaborate and otherwise support the responsibility as a team member. The Global DBS Director, EMEA will be responsible for supporting the strategic and action planning of the aforementioned aspects, as well as for process development and improvement, execution and sustainment, status measurement, and progress communication of many details. At times, the Global DBS Director, EMEA may support multiple initiatives w/in and across other existing OpCo's, as well as to-be or recently acquired acquisitions or divestitures. This requires consulting with stakeholders to understand current market and business needs, determining strategic options, as well as prioritizing and implementing the best solutions. What you'll do: + Lead the training, implementation and coaching of commercial continuous improvement processes, best practices and tools. Key process areas are focused on HVC (Holistic View of Commercialization), Lean Transactional, and Leadership + Drive a funnel of kaizen improvements built through the inputs of the Business Unit, commercial, and functional teams... and focused on the Cytiva DBS Priorities + Ensure and conduct bi-weekly reviews of kaizen charter creation, review, approval, and pre-work that drive successful kaizen preparation + Ensure and conduct bi-weekly reviews of kaizen sustainment + Ensure that the team maintains a current schedule of availability to be used to determine where capacity exists when coordinating Business Unit needs + Collaborate with the DHR DBS Office to continuously improve the DBS toolset + Periodically review lean and commercial growth success with Business Unit, commercial, and functional leaders... from assessment to DBS priorities and focus areas Who you are + Preferred Bachelor's degree in a business, technical, or financial field of study w/ minimum 10+ years' experience or master's degree with 5+ years' experience + Ability to commit to max 75% of required domestic and international business travel + Minimum 5 years in a Danaher business with exposure to DBS tools is preferred + Experience working effectively in diverse global environments + Minimum 10 years of experience in both Facilities management and Corporate Real Estate + Independent, self-starter - able to set agenda and drive progress with little direction + Effective communicator and ability to implement dynamic, participant-centered training + Strong influence skills - can lead groups in kaizen and drive strong results + Experimentation mindset - able to help teams take and manage risk, drive experimentation to facilitate learning + Rigorous analytical/data driven problem solver who can help teams reduce complex situations to enable progress and results + Critical thinking and decision-making, business astuteness, and process orientation + Executive presence/maturity - can interact with and drive leaders as well as associates to progress commercial improvements + Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerati
