Overview
Are you an experienced Live-in Healthcare Assistant (HCA) looking for a new challenge, or even looking for another care opportunity in which to boost your income? Our client is a young female adult with complex needs and who is a wheelchair user. Your role will be to provide care and support to our client whilst she attends Southampton University and out in the community, assisting the client to maintain her own independence and to enrich her life. She is seeking a carer who is lively and bubbly and will encourage her to participate in clubs and activities. You will have your own room, with en-suite in the Halls of Residence at Southampton University. Pay rates: £924.58 per week (inclusive of holiday pay) Flexible working: You can work week on / week off or two weeks on / two weeks off We can offer you: Weekly pay Flexible working hours Agreed mileage payments to most of our clients On-going FREE training and development opportunities Free Uniform Healthcare Assistants (HCA’s) will have an opportunity to build on their current experience by working directly with clinical interventions including but not limited to:- NG/Gastrostomy feeding, BIPAP, Cough Assist, Tracheostomy. We are seeking Healthcare Assistants (HCA’s) to work in partnership with our nurses to provide clinical interventions for patients with a range of debilitating conditions and disabilities.
