Network Engineer Peterlee Salary £30,000 - £40,000p/a on call allowance benefits The CPS Group are currently working with a growing company based in Peterlee. The business is going through an exciting period of growth and as a result have an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to join their business. As an experienced Network Engineer, colleagues, managers and suppliers alike, will see you as a subject matter expert that means you are well placed to have a positive impact on employee job satisfaction, customer experience and how our business works. As a Network Engineer, your main responsibilities are as follows: Implementation and support of an SD-Wan solution, across a nationwide 22-Branch Office network. Transferring existing private cloud-hosting environment to a new datacentre. Cisco ISE deployment Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems Involved in our 2020 project implementation The ideal a Network Engineer will possess some, if not all, of the following attributes: Working knowledge of Cisco LAN & WAN (supported by CCNA/CCNP accreditation) within a large, multi-site enterprise networking environment A thorough understanding of main network technologies such as VOIP, ADSL, VPN, MPLS, Switching, Routing, Firewall, VLANS, Video Conferencing & SIP.
