Overview
Harvey Nash's client, a professional services consultancy based in Glasgow city centre are recruiting a UX to join their team on a permanent basis where you'll take pride in ensuring user experiences are simple, intuitive and delightful. Working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary ream, you'll contribute to all stages of proposition and product development, covering everything from user research and testing, through storyboarding and prototyping, to developing and iterating products. Your approach will be user-centred and you'll have experience of talking to users and working with user data. Financial services experience would be beneficial, however experience of working with and translating complex ideas into simple user experiences is essential. Key responsibilities of the role; Support researching, developing and prototyping ideas for market testing Bring a User Experience perspective to proposition or product development Wire-framing and prototyping ideas for testing and iteration Work collaboratively with developers on cross-platform applications to develop User Experiences across mobile phones, tablets and computers User Interface design and bringing ideas and concepts to life visually Skills and Personal Characteristics: Experience of specialist design software An interest in and willingness to keep up to date with software applications and new techniques in a rapidly changing profession Ability to successfully collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders Strong communication skills Collaborative and a good team player Self-motivated, with a desire to learn and share knowledge Able to build strong and professional relationships Thrive in an fast paced Agile environment Able to think outside the box and seek new perspectives This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced UX Designer to secure an interesting and challenging position with a highly respected organisation based in Glasgow city centre where they foster a highly collaborative working environment together with a competitive salary and benefits package.
