Overview
UX Designer Glasgow Would you like to join growing team in central Glasgow location? Would you like to develop your UX Design skills on data and analytics focussed products? Are you a pro-active person with a problem solving attitude? Then you may want to find out more about this role. Be-IT Resourcing's client has opportunity for a UX designer who takes pride in ensuring user experiences are simple, intuitive and delightful. You will be comfortable working collaboratively within a fast paced, agile, multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to all stages of proposition and product development: from early stage user research and testing, through to storyboarding and prototyping, through to developing and iterating products when up and running. You should have a user-centred design approach, with experience of talking to users and working with user data. Experience of financial services desirable but not essential. Experience of translating complex ideas into simple user experiences essential. Role will involve; Supporting the process of researching, developing and prototyping ideas for market testing. Bringing a user experience perspective to proposition or product development. Wire-framing and prototyping ideas for testing and iteration. Working collaboratively with developers on cross-platform applications to develop user experiences covering mobile phones, tablets and computers. Responsible for user interface design, and for bringing ideas and concepts to life visually. Championing the innovation team approach and building relationships across the business. We are considering candidates with: Experience in using specialist design software A willingness to keep up to date with software applications and new techniques in a rapidly changing profession. Ability to collaborate successfully with both internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills. Self-motivated with a drive to learn and share knowledge. Able to forge strong and professional relationships. Thrive in a fast paced, agile environment bringing both positivity and optimism. Able to think expansively and seek new perspectives.
