Job Title : Sales Executive Salary: £30,000 Bonus Scheme Overview Strathclyde Vulcanising Services Limited (SVS Ltd) are conveyor system specialists providing services to bulk material handling industries/ sectors such as quarrying, recycling, renewables, processing factories etc Our core services are conveyor maintenance and solutions including ancillaries, conveyor belt installations and repairs, lining works and product wholesaler. Product portfolio consists of all conveyor system items i.e. belt, rollers, drums, scrapers, skirting, rubber sheeting, hoses, impact bars, screen media etc Expectations The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth. To apply an effective strategy selling service and product portfolio to new business maximising potential opportunities, prospect targeting to expand client base within field-based role, business development planning and account management. To provide performance and analysis reporting with metric measurements, updating company client relationship management system (CRM) building management information. Support marketing department to develop promotions and content to enhance leads generation and opportunities. Core Responsibilities · Field-based sales territory within Scotland and North of England · Target new prospects to increase business, expanding customer base · Identify, develop and close business opportunities to grow sales · Research emerging markets and new revenue streams to enhance opportunities · Explore buyer markets for tendering propositions · Account management maintaining regular communication and visitations · Build and maintain positive relationships with key personnel/ decision makers · Develop customer profiling and key management information within CRM · Identify and understand customer needs to meet service expectations · Apply sales strategies identifying KPIs to meet goals, objectives and targets · Track, record and report activity on account, analysing performance with statistics · Provide regular reports and strategy planning updates to management · Attend meetings on performance and direction · Promote company portfolio of products and services · Participate in pricing quotations and/ or proposals · Maintain a robust pipeline of pro-active sales, leads and opportunities · Support the development of marketing strategy and projects to entice interest · Market research to leverage industry knowledge, innovation and distribution · Promote a culture of expertise, quality, professionalism and health and safety · Network with customers and attend industry functions/ events · Collaborate with operations and technical staff to meet delivery of service to customer · Acknowledge and monitor competitors providing feedback to elevate competitor advantage Requirements · Sales Experience (minimum 2 years) · Industry Knowledge (preferable) · Business Marketing Understanding · Financial Forecasting/ Margin Control · Computer Literate · Proficient in Microsoft Packages · CRM Capabilities · Driving Licence (no more than 6 points) Skills and Attributes · Good Communication · Punctual · Professionalism · Leadership Qualities · Commercial Dealings · Time Management · Planning & Organisation · Self-Managing · Metric Measurement Reporting Package Company Vehicle Laptop Mobile Phone Hot Desk PPE and Tooling Product and Service Educating Health and Safety Awareness Training
