Overview

Our client, a leading body within the public sector based in Birmingham City Centre , is currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a permanent basis. Our client provides a wide range of services across the West Midlands and are proud to be of 37 companies nationally to have attained its Leaders in Diversity accreditation. The position is due to start as soon as possible on a full time basis, and the salary is circa £45,000, dependent upon experience. The ideal candidate will hold a CIPD Level 5 or equivalent and experience of working within a Human Resources environment at a senior level. Duties will include (but not limited to): Building relationships with line managers, department leaders and external stakeholders, providing HR advice in line with business strategy and needs whilst overseeing the performance of an Assistant HR Business Partner Driving the organisations HR and OD initiatives in line with the organisations people strategy Championing business change and continuous improvement by providing advice on organisation review and redesign Providing advice on all employment related matters and ensuring they are managed in line with organisational policies and legislative requirements Leading on all ER related matters, including but not limited to disciplinary, grievances, performance and absence management, health and wellbeing Managing workforce planning and vacancy management, utilising a business partnering approach Promoting a programme of wellbeing events and activities to support employees to maintain a healthy lifestyle Experience required: Experience of advising and supporting managers at a senior level on a range of employment issues Experience of conflict resolution Skills, knowledge and expertise required: A flexible, consultative and solution-focused approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of tact, discretion and diplomacy Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, with ability to influence effectively, build constructive working relationships and project credibility Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of current employment legislation Rewards and Benefit s : Gym Membership Reward Gateway Network Travel Pass Flexible Working Cycle to work scheme Working hours : 36.5 hours per week Monday - Friday Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
