Overview
My client is a financial services company based in Hailsham, Sussex.This role allows a qualified or newly qualified accountant to join a progressive company and is a great next step on the career ladder. You will be reporting to the Directors and providing Accounting and Tax Compliance and Advisory services across a variety of clients. Primary responsibilities Supporting the expanding base of Private Client and Corporate Tax clients. Supporting the preparation of UK Tax Returns and Preparation of Financial Statements for both Personal and Corporate clients. Supporting the Directors with all aspects of client’s compliance and reporting Supporting the Directors with other ad hoc advisory work Liaising directly with clients to assist in resolving relevant general queries. Support with general practice administration. Candidate Profile Newly Qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) or Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Previous experience in Personal Tax and/or Indirect Taxes gained in practise or in-house Good knowledge of Tax Administration including VAT, PAYE, Self-Assessment and Corporate Tax. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Tax, Accounting and PAYE products.
