Senior Architect / Studio Lead / Dundee / Architecture Your new company Hays Specialist Recruitment is working exclusively with one of Scotland most well-known architectural practices. Their current project workload covers a number of different sectors across Scotland and the rest of the UK, including; residential, leisure, retail, commercial and education. Your new role Due to current strong workload and imminent projects, you would be taking a leading role within the business management of staff and delivery of projects, before the role progresses onto a more client focused role, where you will be tasked with bringing in additional work. Effectively you will take a role in leading the studio, with an established client base, and existing staff. This is a very broad and wide ranging role where you will manage the client relationship; managing and coordinating the design team's information; leading and managing the production team; managing information output to programme and to quality standards; managing the administration of the project, including contract admin, programme and reporting; deliver through to site stage, and respective duties such as site inspections. In addition to office fee reporting, and profit and loss accounts as the role grows and develops. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced and ambitious architect (ARB/RIBA), with not only a design and delivery track record of large scale projects, but also have a track record in managing staff and winning work. Ideal experience would be city-based high-volume high-value developer-led schemes or large scale high volume residential developments, however experience within comparable buildings in terms of value and size would be considered, for the right person.
