Overview
Senior Surveyor required to supervise a repairs and voids operation for 4500 homes in Devon Your new company As a Senior Surveyor you will join a local authority based in Devon, who manage and maintain over 4500 homes. You will supervise a housing team which includes specialist surveyors responsible for repairs, voids, compliance and delivery of programmes of planned works. Your new role You will take a lead primarily in the supervision of a voids service, ensuring that the contractor is undertaking work to a high standard, achieving value for money and achieving completed works in the outlined timescales. As well as this, you will lead on day to day responsive repairs, ensuring that surveyors are working effectively and that customer satisfaction is achieved. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this position you will have a background as a surveyor, ideally in a role which has required robust and effective contracts management. What you'll get in return In return you will receive an initial interim contract of up to six months in duration, with an extension past this point highly likely. For the initial interim period you will receive an hourly rate of up to £30 per hour.
