Overview

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnered with a global business based in Kettering who are currently recruiting a Finance Manager into the organisation. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the role will business partner General Managers and Sales Leads to help maximise the profitability of the business units. You will provide timely, relevant and insightful information to facilitate the continual improvement of pricing, volume growth and MOVC optimisation. The main remit of this sales led role is oversee value growth, value retention, pricing and best practice. You will coach, mentor and develop a team of Managers and Analysts to provide clear, accurate, timely and insightful information to help improve commercial decision making across the Business Units in order to maximise growth and profitability. You will:- Support sales, commercial and operational functions to enable volume growth as well as value and cost optimisation. Focus on strategic pricing to maximise both volume growth and sales price to drive margin enhancement. Identify low margin products/accounts, and work with Sales/Ops to agree, implement and monitor recovery actions. Co-ordinate and implement margin enhancement projects / opportunities. Improve and accelerate new customer on boarding to help drive volume growth. Identify any commercial risks and work collaboratively to develop mitigation plans. Present commercial recommendations to senior management. Maintain and improve all cost models and system-based reporting. Help to develop better customer level sales forecasting / budgets. Candidates will be commercially thinking qualified accountants , or have significant industry based commercial and price development experience, also possessing:- Advanced MS Excel skills and experienced with manipulating large sets of data Strong IT skills, and ability to quickly pick up new IT systems Strong intellect, analytical and planning skills combined with a commercial outlook. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to see the value in the information provided and to inspire others to make use of it.
