Overview
A highly prestigious organisation based in Cambridge are currently looking for a Finance Team leader on a part time or full time basis. The role is based in the city centre however they do offer on site parking The company will consider someone on 30 hours or 36 hours per week. The main duties of the role are as follows: - Transactional staff management - 5 team members - Approval and processing of payments - Month end tasks including balance sheet recs and assist with month end close - Prepare group VAT return - Statutory reporting Candidates must have significant experience of managing and mentoring a team. Understanding of core transactional and month end processes and controls is essential. Ideally candidates must be AAT qualified or studying towards a CIMA/ACCA qualification.
