General Manager – Multifaceted leisure venue £50,000 Location: Newcastle Salary: £50,000 Bonus All applicants should currently be at General Manager Level with Industry experience Role I am currently recruiting for an experienced General Managers to join a fast-paced team in Leisure and Entertainment sector. This is a chance to put your stamp on a role and have fun whilst doing so. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the site. My client is looking for a talented Manager, who is customer focused and able to run a site from top to bottom. You will have responsibility for all areas of the site including a management team, new recruits and training, building revenue streams, driving KPIs forward with team members and all operational aspects including health and safety and reporting aspects of the sites. Job Description: Operations Finance – achieve and exceed levels of profitability, accountability for the sites spending and budgetary control New Business Development Administration, including rotas, compliance with Health and Safety, recruitment and training Maintain cash security and cash handling in accordance with standard operating procedures Development and implementation of the marketing plan including up-sells, outreach activities and corporate business portfolio Person Specification: At least 3 years’ management experience ideally within the Leisure or Entertainment Industry The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Enthusiastic and proactive The ability to lead, manage and motivate a team and drive results is also essential. A goal-focused approach with great communication and customer service skills.
