Overview
Badenoch & Clark are pleased to be working with a leading organisation based near Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a Finance Business Partner. Key responsibilities include: Preparing quarterly budgets and forecasts, aligned to Group FP&A's timetable, highlighting opportunities and risks to ensure strategy is in line with overall business objectives. Become a trusted partner to ensure finance is at the heart of all major decision making and that decisions are optimised through insight and analysis. Influence key stakeholders and drive efficiency and cost improvements, while providing effective long term strategic advice and direction. Suggest and agree long term improvement metrics and KPI targets. Monthly variance analysis reporting with insightful commentary, highlighting any risks and opportunities to budget. Monthly balance sheet reviews with financial accounting and manager Provide business case support and challenge on new initiatives, ensuring strong ROI on all investments. Analysing their likely financial success and alignment with long term strategic plans. Key skills / experience Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Proven business partnering experience Ability to produce investment appraisals including complex financial modelling Ability to communicate and build high level relationships Experience of dealing with challenging customers and stakeholders
