Overview

Main Purpose of the Job To provide accurate and efficient financial assistance to the Trust through the effective operation of the Trust’s financial systems and procedures. Key Responsibilities To record all transactions across the Trust within the Finance databases Process invoices, liaising with suppliers as and when required across the Trust Process the BACS/cheques for all suppliers across the Trust To accurately code income expenditure across the school(s) budget Oversea the counting of money and banking documentation Manage the transport for all educational visits Support the budget monitoring process of the Trust Finance Team Manage filing and general Finance administration as and when required Carry out any procedures that align themselves to the year end and budget monitoring process(s) of the Trust. Duties may be subject to change in order to meet the operations of the Trust Essential Skills Good general standard of education with a minimum of GCSE in Mathematics or equivalent Strong attention to detail and able to produce work with a high level of accuracy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organisational skills Plan own work schedule to meet agreed deadlines Ability to work as a member of a team Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines Ability to show sensitivity and objectivity with confidential issues Fully proficient in using IT systems, including Excel and Microsoft Word Demonstrate a logical and methodical approach with attention to detail and accuracy Flexible attitude Desirable Skills To have worked in a school or academic environment Working knowledge and experience of finance packages ideally Sage 200 Ability to work on own initiative without detailed direction Hours 37 Hours per week, Full Time.
