Overview
My client is a well-known Chambers rated firm looking to strengthen its Corporate and Commercial team in Nottingham City Centre. The firm benefits from having several partners who were formerly at national law firms and have brought their clients with them. As a result, there is a superb opportunity to pick up a high value corporate and commercial workload. This corporate commercial solicitor role is suitable for someone with 4-8 years' PQE. You will support the firm through relieving the senior team members of some supervisory roles and assisting those who require more help with their cases. The Department typically handles the buying and selling of businesses, shareholder agreements, private equity investments, management buy-out and refinancing and commercial agreements. The client base could be SME's or owner-managed businesses with a typical turnover of between £20m and £50m. Ideally, you will have links to the Nottingham market. If you're a relocator, it's important that you commit to living and working in the Nottingham area. This role offers city level work in an environment where you will be valued and are more than just a number.
