Overview

ADMINISTRATOR About the Administrator role: To ensure the ongoing integrity of the data received from suppliers in relation to purchase back order and ensure timely and accurate adjustment of the system to reflect this information. Responsible for analysing the results and negotiating improved lead-times in line with business requirements this is a key role in the supply chain management, liaising daily with all departments who have a part in servicing customers. Aim is to ensure on time delivery to support existing customer requirements or to proactively ensure parts are on the shelf to drive sales through inventory availability. The ability to communicate effectively and work within a pressurised environment whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy, professionalism and organisation is essential. Responsibilities of the Administrator: • To regularly maintain supplier purchase orders, ensuring the provision of delivery information is accurate and up-to date • Liaise with other departments where appropriate to ensure any order amendments or queries are dealt with efficiently. • To drive supplier relations, enhancing communication and focusing on service improvements that will drive more efficient update processes, more accurate information and assist top line sales. • Negotiate with supplier base, to improve delivery of product in line with company sales budgets and driving best in class On Time Delivery metrics • Proactively identify problematic orders, product areas, suppliers and work on both short and long term solutions to address them • To respond in a timely manner to the relevant departments with order status information • Providing a first class customer service level to all internal and external customers meeting all relevant SOP’s without compromising on quality of work Knowledge, Skills and Experience: • Ideally a graduate in a business discipline or, an individual who has worked within a customer services environment for a minimum of 2 years • An effective communicator, who can demonstrate strong listening skills, providing understanding and empathy and, who has the ability to negotiate within a demanding sales/service environment • Ability to work on own initiative, whilst maintaining team spirit • Displays a sense of urgency, actions requests in a timely manner, is accurate, organised and has the ability to perform under pressure • Competent in Microsoft Office packages Please note if you have not been contacted by Plum Personnel within seven days then unfortunately on this occasion you have been unsuccessful.
