Overview
Manpower Recruitment are actively seeking a Production Operator/Forklift Operator to work with one of our established customers based in Duncrue. Hourly rate of pay £9.27ph Hours of work will be on a rotational basis. Monday to Friday 6am-2.30pm or 2.30pm-1am Monday to Thursday To package a finished good, in keeping with customer order requirements, specifications and times whilst maintaining the quality and safety necessary to achieve this objective Key Tasks Monitoring packaging production Ensuring department cleanliness and hygiene Maintaining appropriate records for department Metal Detection Checks Weight Checks Responsible for monitoring product quality Fork Lift Driving Maintaining appropriate records for department Loading finished goods and unloading of dry goods Storing packaging Essential Criteria Working experience within a food manufacturing environment Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Ability to work with PLC control screens and SCADA Systems Demonstrate Good Communication Skills Demonstrate accuracy completing paperwork Flexible approach to work A willingness to learn Good spoken and written English Electric Pallet Truck License Desirable Criteria Counter Balance Forklift Licence Reach Truck Forklift License Pallet Stacker License Knowledge of HACCP and CCP's Experience of Working in a packing line environment
