IMMEDIATE START ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT LONG-TERM TEMP ROLE (3-6 MONTHS) WITH POTENTIAL TO GO PERM £11.00-£14.00 PER HOUR DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE For over 90 years’ this business have been at the forefront of what they do and through innovative design and exceptional customer care. Now, due to the business seeing impressive and significant growth they are looking for you to join their team as an Accounts Assistant on a 3-6 month basis As the successful Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for: Reconciliation of customer accounts and ensure accurate payment allocations Daily and month-end balance sheet reconciliations (e.g. bank accounts, intercompany accounts, etc.) Supporting the Customer Service team with sales invoice related queries Supporting the Credit Control team in issuing statements, payment reminders and cash collections Processing payments, refunds and credits Updating customer accounts with correct information and ensure service contracts are set up correctly Processing customer and account documents by reviewing data for deficiencies or duplications and resolving discrepancies Ad-hoc reporting where necessary To be successful as the new Accounts Assistant you will: Have previous experience working in a transactional accounts role Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Be an Intermediate user of MS Excel and Outlook Ideally have Sage X3 accounting experience Salary: £11.00-£14.00 PER HOUR Benefits: 20 days holiday, pension, company healthcare and leave early on Friday To apply: I can be reached via email on liam Crowley cox .co .uk or if you want to give me a call to discuss please feel free My number can be found on the Crowley Cox website or Crowley Cox’s LinkedIn page- give us a follow too while you’re there
