Overview
Our client, one of the UK's top 20 Facilities Management Contractors are looking to source and appoint an experienced Maintenance Manager or Hard Services Manager to deliver on a demanding Midlands based PFI educational Contract, ensuring that all facilities receive the Service Levels prescribed in the contract. This individual will ensure that: All buildings are compliant in terms of Planned Maintenance Activities Testing and Inspections of Plant, Electrical and HVAC Equipment are conducted as per the schedule The team is sufficiently staffed and monitored Specialist Sub-Contract Partners are managed and supported Clients (tenants, stakeholders, estates teams and medical personnel) have a suitable interface for all technical queries, complaints and updates Records and Reports are produced and recorded in a suitable manner PPM schedules are regularly reviewed to ensure that best practice is being applied both the clients and the service provider The engineering team is fully informed, motivated, trained and supported to ensure the delivery of a first class maintenance service. The successful candidate will have the required experience, technical knowledge and man management skills to deliver this complex and challenging Facilities Management Contract. They will have a firm understanding of Building Service Maintenance and all of the associated plant and equipment. They will have a sound understanding of PFI, PPP or LIFt Contracts and they will possess excellent customer interfacing skills. Due to the nature of the role, you will be Midlands based, ideally Birmingham and hold a full UK driving licence.
