The Company An award winning multi-disciplinary engineering and property consultant. Established for over 50 years and employing over 150 people. Their clients cover many sectors including Commercial, Residential, Senior Living, Mixed-use and Industrial. Their diverse Engineering team and broad engineering service offering have steadily grown over the last ten years, they now have seven offices across the UK. A Mechanical HVAC Engineering and Facilities Management consultancy job has arisen in their London location. Due to the ongoing success of the MEP Engineering team, they require a Maintenance Engineer/Consultant who has a strong knowledge of Heating Boilers and Systems. The Role You purpose will be to provide advice and support with the operation and ongoing Heating Boiler installations. You will have influence of Mechanical Heating and Plant rooms maintenance, design, planning, construction. As an HVAC Mechanical Engineering and Maintenance Management Consultant to the Building Services and sector, you will provide support to Building Owners, Facilities Managers, Landlords, Tenants and Building Users during the Whole Life Cycle of buildings and portfolios including · Plant room and Boiler survey and reporting · life cycle assessments · commissioning management · plant replacement/upgrades and solutions to all technical problems As a mechanical engineer you will be fully supported and be an intrinsic part of the Building Services team, working closely with mechanical and electrical engineers both Design and Maintenance. Qualifications · HNC/HND in a Mechanical Engineering subject · Demonstratable knowledge of maintenance and installation of HVAC, Heating and Boiler services · Good communication skills with Clients and Maintenance companies · Able to work independently and within a team This is a great opportunity to grow this role into an integral part of the Building Services business.
