Overview
Dealing and Trade Management Business Analyst London 12-month contract Department: Technology Reports to: Business Analysts Manager My high-profile banking client is currently recruiting for a Dealing and Trade Management Business Analyst to work in their London based office on an initial 12-month contract Job Purpose This role is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide variety of business teams to help deliver a new front to back enterprise investment management solution and integrate it with numerous other business critical downstream systems. This project is part of a large programme of work that is aligned to the business re-structuring strategy. In this business facing role, you should be resourceful, energetic, and ready to hit the ground running. You'll need to work well in a team, but also be self-sufficient. You should be ready to share ideas and fresh perspectives. Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with all business stakeholders, collaborate on requirements and ensure that the technology strategy is aligned with business goals and strategy Establish excellent communication channels with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Actively participate in the project delivery life-cycle including agile and iterative processes and develop documentation such as system user guides and business process & procedures Responsible for the business analysis function within the project, working collaboratively with the other assigned BAs and any other stakeholders to deliver the required functionality for dealing and trade management Map existing functions and identify changes to business processes Document new business process workflows from the Implementation Team through to Trade Management Document and track business gaps and proposed solutions Document business acceptance criteria for all process Job Specific Competencies In-depth knowledge of order execution through to trade reporting across all asset classes including OTCs Knowledge of pre/ post trade compliance is a must An understand of the full trade lifecycle including matching, confirmation, settlement Experience of a buy side market leading OMS e.g. Aladdin, Charles River Hands-on experience of electronic trading platforms and FIX messaging protocol would be preferable Understanding of different allocation methodologies implemented in Asset Management businesses Extensive knowledge of TCA and Execution Quality reporting An understanding of Market Abuse monitoring would be beneficial Exceptional knowledge of Asset Management business process, workflows and business process re-engineering People (team-working/collaboration skills) Fantastic communicator and collaborator keen to work closely with a wide variety of teams, both technical and business Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to enable you to manage expectations. You will need to have the capability to manage both positive and negative feedback Discover, understand and define stakeholder and product owner needs via workshops, meetings and interviews. Playback the requirements using a variety of approaches including user stories and business process flows.
