JOB DETAILS Job title: Asset Team Manager - Fleet and Fire Salary: £39,782 to £44,632 per annum Contract type: Permanent Working hours: 37 hour per week Location: Power Place, Terminus Road, Chichester Application closing date: 20th April 2020 Interview date: 29th April 2020 Job details: As part of this role, you will be managing a range of assets from identification of need, through the procurement process, mobilisation, operational use, maintenance, and final disposal. As a commercially aware individual, you will have specialist knowledge of the range of equipment types used in the Fleet and Fire and Rescue Service. You will be delivering a customer focused contract management service, including provision of expertise and guidance on contract management and related issues in support of the Corporate Contract Management Strategy. You will be responsible for managing large, reasonably complex, contracts and work closely with clients to ensure efficient service provision. You will also be managing delivery of Fleet Asset Management Plan (via Capital Programme Office) worth 15m and to line manage a small team; to meet objectives and deliver a professional procurement and contract management service.
