SVP of Engineering Location: Central London Salary: Up to £140,000 - £160,000 basic salary bonus A market leading fin-tech, based in Central London, is recruiting an SVP of Engineering to lead their European engineering capability. This is an integral role in the technical direction, people leadership and strategic vision as they begin to broaden their dominant consumer proposition with a number of new products. The ideal SVP of Engineering will be an inspiring leader who has the experience to nurture the current leadership team while also being happy getting stuck in to setting up high performing agile teams in an environment that fosters continuous innovation and an obsession for the customer. It is vital that the SVP of Engineering can establish a progressive culture, from effective recruitment strategies to passionately backing the technology decisions behind the products that deliver a market leading consumer experience. You should enjoy working at an Executive level with both collaborative approach with product, marketing, and commercial functions. As SVP of Engineering you should have the following experience: Working closely with CxO level stakeholders and your peer group to design and execute a technology strategy that delivers Scalability, Agility and Security Building and leading software engineering teams Exposure to JVM technologies and a cloud 1 st approach Implementing appropriate processes, setting appropriate expectations, managing risks, managing resource allocation and consistently removing blockers Have led a customer centric, product led business Enjoy creating career pathways from grass roots to Principal to Leaders This is a unique opportunity for a SVP of Engineering to join a forward-thinking, disruptive organisation and spearhead the technical direction of a number of exciting products set to disrupt and revolutionise the way consumers interact with their market.
