A Junior Sous Chef position is available at a country inn located in North Yorkshire Role: A rural country inn is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen which has been awarded one AA Rosette for the high standards of dining at the venue.The menus at the property features items from many local suppliers allowing the kitchen to create seasonal dishes with a combination of both modern and traditional meals.In this role of Junior Sous Chef you will be working under an accomplished Head Chef who will offer you excellent training in order to further develop your all round cooking skills but also to introduce you to kitchen management. Requirements: A Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef who has been working in busy, fresh food kitchens most recently ideally to one AA Rosette level although this is not essential.A chef with knowledge of a number of different sections in the kitchen who is also confident to direct others chefs when required would be ideal.
