Overview
Finance Director Birmingham We are currently looking for an experienced Finance Director to join a high-profile Midlands based PFI project. You will be supporting to the Managing Director and will oversee the financial performance of the company. Duties of the Finance Director will include: You will lead the delivery of the strategic business plan, annual budget and quarterly forecasting Liaising with public and private funders to ensure funding is received in advance, to offset costs and investment Benefit identification and planning, creating value in excess of costs, investment and costs of capital You will deliver financial reporting accounts, ensuring all regulatory, statutory and financial requirements are met Lead commercial negotiations for major procurement activities You will lead the Finance team, ensuring they are a motivated and developing, high potential team Maintaining external relationships and ensure that the Finance Service is lean and commercially aware Providing financial, benchmarking, strategic financing options that will support the running of the programme Skills and qualifications required of the Finance Director will include: Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) Experience as a Finance Director in a public-private partnership is desirable Experience of working in a contracts driven business Strong leadership and management skills, proven in a senior level role A strategic and customer focussed mindset Concise decision making, according to the delegates authority matrix Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and negotiation skills Ability to be flexible in a changing environment Organisation and problem-solving skills Computer literate Salary: Offering an excellent remuneration package.
