Overview
Accounts Assistant job opportunity at Frontier Support, Croydon Frontier Support - Your new company You will be joining the Croydon office of Frontier Support as a key member of the Finance Team. Your new role Reporting to the Finance Officer based in St Leonards, with an indirect report to the CEO who is based in Croydon, you will be taking on a key role overseeing all areas of accounting from bookkeeping through to bank reconciliations, credit control and supporting Regional Managers to deliver cost effective allocation of staff resources & contract monitoring, including management accounting and budgetary control. Your key focus will be looking after staff costs and payroll ensuring correct processing and reconciliation of costs, hours and charge rates alongside the Payroll Officer. In addition, you will be driving budget control with cost centre owners, challenging and business partnering, problem solving and supporting the Finance Officer in putting together key management reports for the CEO and Finance Director as required. Alongside your day to day role, you’ll also have a degree of autonomy and creative license to help identify and support control of process improvements, policies and systems changes to ensure the finance function continues to be fit for purpose as Frontier Support continues its growth path. What you'll need to succeed In addition to your experience in accounts processing, reporting, budgeting and payroll, you should have strong Sage knowledge (preferably Sage 50) and be a self-starter; highly motivated and hands on with an appetite for continuous improvement. Flexibility is also key and a willingness to travel from time to time between the offices in Croydon and St Leonards.
