Overview
SF Recruitment are working with a well established, national retail and distribution business with head offices just outside Birmingham City Centre. The business in question has developed a superb e-commerce platform to supplement their distribution and retail store divisions. They are recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner to engage with key stakeholders across the business to drive commercial activity, improve the understanding of what drives revenue and how efficiency improvements impact not only a divisional P&L but the P&L of the wider business too. This is a key role to improve commercial insight through the use of financial modelling, tangible management information and stakeholder management. Our client is looking for a proactive and commercially astute finance professional. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for but not limited to: -Develop KPIs for the measurement and delivery of accurate and insightful analysis identifying variances to budget / forecast which are fully understood and effectively communicated to management and the wider business -To support and drive commercial decisions including pricing reviews, cost management / improvement initiatives and fostering greater awareness and ownership of business performance and risk management -Delivering forecasts and budgets that meet the overall needs of the business effectively highlighting and communicating commercial risks and opportunities -Continuous improvement of reporting processes The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ ACMA / ACA), with the ability to think creatively, act proactively and a proven track record of delivering in a challenging role.
