Microfluidics Physicist - Medical Devices - Cambridge An up-and-coming medical devices company in the Cambridge technology cluster are actively looking for bring on microfluidics design experts to work on ground-breaking bio-instrumentation and testing technologies. This exciting new role will give the Microfluidics Physicist an opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in the sector and on the most technologically advanced instruments. Within this role you will have a hands-on approach to all aspects of R&D including design and development, project management, stakeholder management and testing. The company provide you with autonomy and freedom to truly flourish within this role, whilst also making sure you continual develop as a physicist. In this role you will be working on highly complex projects, leading and steering the product from initial concept through to manufacture. We are looking for people with a passion for technology that aims to improve and save people's lives. To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a degree in bioengineering, physics, biochemistry or a relatable discipline from a leading university whilst having commercial R&D experience within the sector. The right candidate will also be a self-starter while any additional project management experience would be advantageous. In terms of level of experience, the company are open on this, considering people from only a few years commercial experience through to veterans in the market who wish to remain very much hands on.
