Overview
At Adapt Recruit we are currently recruiting for a expeirenced Clinical Deputy Manager for a full time permanent position based in Maistone area. The main responsibility of this role is to support the Registered Home Manager and act as Manager in the absence of the Registered Manager. You will support with the overall management of care within the home, whilst also promoting and maintaining the highest quality of service for our residents through development of person centred care plans. Our client provides nursing and residential care for elderly frail and residents who are living with a dementia. Despite the complex needs of the residents our clients aim is to maintain and improve the residents’ abilities so they continue to live their life in a meaningful and fulfilling way. Key responsibilities of a Nurse: Administer and order medicines as required by the home in accordance with the homes’ policies and procedures. Work within the NMC codes of conduct Provide leadership, guidance, management to nursing staff in line with company policies and procedures Provide support and supervision to care staff Ensure effective communication with relatives and other healthcare professionals. Ensure confidentiality regarding all aspects of care and management of the home is maintained. Assessing and responding to clinical risk, and having a good understanding of the regulatory framework. Participate in staff supervision, training and development.
