Childcare Assessor - Pembrokeshire/West Wales £21000 to £23500 per annum plus mileage Fluent Welsh speaker/Home-based/Assessor training given Our client is a leading Welsh training organisation who aims to raise achievement across various educational programmes by delivering high quality and creative training courses, programmes and resources. They are currently looking to recruit a Welsh speaking Childcare Assessor (either qualified or unqualified) who can deliver Children's Care qualifications up to Level 3, across the West Wales region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified Children's Care worker who would like to train to become an apprenticeship assessor and help to develop the next generation of child carers achieve their qualifications in Children's Care, Play and Learning & Development/ You will support a caseload of up to 37 learners to achieve their qualifications through a mentoring, facilitative approach and provide an excellent level of customer service to all learners, mentors and employers. You will actively engage with learners on a monthly basis to review progress, assess and feedback on learner work and plan assessment activities. You must have: A minimum of 3 years' experience of working within a childcare setting. Qualification in childcare (for children ranging between ages 0 -19) at level 3 minimum or equivalent. A good level of Maths and English. Fluent Welsh speaker. A full U.K driving licence and be willing to travel around West Wales and beyond if required It is desirable that you hold an assessor and/or IQA qualification and have experience of assessing and work based learning. However, our client is willing to offer training for the right candidate. Starting salary range is between £21000 and £23000 per annum plus £500 pa for delivery via Welsh language and mileage.
