Residential Childcare Support Worker

Position - Residential Childcare Workers Location - Working either in Chard, Somerset or Axminster, Devon Salary - £22,600 - £24,756 per annum Hours - Fulltime involving 10 shifts and 9 sleeps totalling 163.5 hrs per month Why work here - This company provides support and care for children who have suffered developmental trauma, neglect and abuse during their early life, which has caused attachment difficulties and challenging behaviour, for children with SEMH and SEND, including Autism. About the Service - They have 2 residential children's homes in Chard and Axminster together with 1 young adult learning disabilities care home and a Special Educational Needs school. Type of person required - You will be passionate about delivering high quality person centred support to children and young people. You will be patient, caring and able to build trust in people. Experience and qualifications - Candidates must preferably have an NVQ L3 in Children and Young People, or have at least 2 yrs' experience in RESIDENTIAL child care, experience in working with challenging behaviour and learning difficulties, autism. Be over 21 and have a full driving licence.
