We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Regional Stock Manager for the Travis Perkins P&H division. Reporting into the Operations Stock Manager, this is an excellent opportunity where you will be responsible for supporting our PTS and CPS branches in the North West & North Central Regions, by managing stock at all times. This is a regional role and the successful individual will need to be comfortable with travel and overnight stays. In return, we offer a competitive salary and provide a job-needs car. Your key accountabilities will include: Maintain regular personal contact with key stakeholders in CPS and PTS to enhance business relationships in implementing stock control to defined stock targets, whilst achieving agreed availability levels. Constantly monitor Non Ranged Dead stock values so that they are met as per AOP stock targets. Clearance of non-ranged stock from branches with no sales Support Regional Directors and branches across both brands in the control and management areas of Key Controls e.g PI Counts, Stock Adjustments, Stock Takes, Damaged Stock. Monitor and review shortfalls in service occurring as a result of stock management, supporting corrective action as appropriate. Work with RD’s and Branch Managers to maximise the stock efficiency, taking into consideration local demand and regional differences. Prepare and manage the implementation of stock allocations for the business alongside the Category Manager and the Operations Stock Manager. Assist in the production of both central and local ranges for branches to ensure that stock deployed is relevant to the branches requirements. Review and monitor out of stock in each of the locations and agree to resolve any issues. Deliver training programmes for branch team members, including the development of best practice guides for efficient stock management, ensuring a consistent approach across branches.
