Overview
MySQL - Applications Support Analyst An amazing opportunity has arisen to join an expanding Software House, in their award-winning building set in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside. You will be working with some of the world’s biggest brands, supporting them with various projects. You will be working closely with the operations manager on a portfolio of some of their biggest clients, understanding their technical requirements liaising between the clients and the development teams. The position involves: Documenting and managing the developments of enhancements to the software, driven by client change requests Writing queries with joins, with MySQL Communicating with the client both in face-to-Face and email formats to discuss change requirements in order to propose and implement solutions Managing the day-to-day development activities of assigned changes within a specified release and communicating with the client on these changes in daily stand-up calls Becoming an SME (Subject Matter Expert) of the Software Key requirements of the candidate: Excellent Command of the English Language, both Written & Verbal An understanding of SaaS based Software and Web Technology An understanding of MySQL and Data Storage/Retrieval Techniques An Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences on both a high and granular level For this, successful candidates will receive a starting salary of up to £30k, depending on experience, as well as structured plans for career progression and regular salary reviews.
