Overview

The Company: This company is one of the leading distributors of capital equipment to the engineering sector. Relationships in place with key customers already. Part of a wider engineering business. Experts in Die Attach, Wire Bonding, Die Bonding in this division. The Role: As an Applications Engineer, you will be supporting the Business Development Manager on microelectronics applications support at customer sites as well as servicing equipment. Preparation of literature to aid sales within the business. Provide customer training on applications. This will be a home based role - roughly 2 days at home and 3 in the field. Working with customers in the Midlands and North. £30k-£35k, £5k car allowance, Mileage paid at the Government Rates, excellent pension scheme, laptop, mobile and Bupa. The Ideal Person: The ideal candidate will have come from an electronics background. HNC level engineering qualification. Happy to travel and stay away from home. Previous experience of working with microelectronics - probably as a technician. Living North of Birmingham.
