Job Description: We are a part of a well known international airline group, one of the world’s leading airline groups flying to over 270 destinations and carrying more than 100 million passengers each year We provide a plug and play platform of scalable, best in class procurement, finance and IT business services to our Operating Companies We combine functional expertise with a strong focus on customer service to make our Group stronger, more efficient, more competitive In addition, you will make an impact in this role by… Reviewing the treasury processes and controls in place for front, middle and back office including all treasury activities such as risk, cash & debt management, accounting and reporting Monitoring compliance to Treasury policy and prepare reporting for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews with OpCo’s CFO’s/Audit/MC Committees Maintaining a robust control framework for monitoring and tracking ICFR controls for treasury processes Creating an approach to monitor, measure and report activities within treasury handbook and on SLA’s between Group Treasury function, GBS treasury and Opco’s Supporting the implementation of Audit recommendations to improve treasury control framework Working closely with the treasury teams in process improvements and standardization/simplification of treasury processes Supporting the projects in scope for 2018 within Corporate Finance team Supporting new functionality delivery within GTP and additional reporting requirements To achieve in this role, you are likely to have… Educated to degree level or equivalent experience (such as treasury / accounting qualifications). Ability to take initiative and work independently in identifying and meeting business needs Strong interpersonal and communication skills: able to build relationships at all levels of the Group as well as identify and deliver key messages from complex information Strong quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills Excellent team player who enjoys working in an international and multicultural environment Ability to represent the group with professionalism and integrity when dealing with external parties, suppliers and banking partners Willing to travel Experience in Treasury, Finance or banking environment, understanding of derivatives and their use to mitigate commodities, IR and FX risks is an advantage What we offer is the chance to be the change leader in a very dynamic industry for a company with over 60 thousand employees.
