Overview
An established firm operating within the electricity sector is seeking an astute and meticulous individual to join their firm as an Accounts Payable / Receivable Analyst. You will be integral to ensuring exceptional levels of operation performance and customer service. Offering support for external stakeholders of the client and ensuring a smooth payment system is maintained in a timely and efficient manner. Role: Ensuring customer invoices and supplier credit notes are issued accurately and on time. Monitor the incoming and outgoing payments on a daily basis and make accurate postings to the finance system to ensure customer and supplier accounts are accurate at all times. Complete daily bank reconciliations. Complete daily payment runs punctually. Complete daily Direct Debits accurately. Produce daily and monthly reports ensuring any discrepancies or imbalances are explained in full. Provide excellent customer service through responses to customer queries and service requests. Undertaking operational activities as and when the need arises. Essential Skills: Minimum 1 year experience in a fast paced, highly organised, high volume accounts payable department. A good understanding of accounting and the Dunning Process. Prior use of Sage X3 (Sage Enterprise Management) is ideal; other similar accounting packages is desirable. Excellent English language skills both written and verbal. This is a permanent position, in an easily accessible location in Central London, with generous benefits included.
