JOB TITLE: Good Inwards Administrator We currently have some unique & exciting opportunities within Southampton University Hospitals which will allow the successful candidates to gain regular shifts & valuable experience within a variety of unique environments. Locations covered: Southampton Pay rates £18,813 - 20,795 pro rata 37.5hrs pw Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Temp role running until June 2020min Main Purpose: This role is a part of a special project to assess the inventory and goods inwards strengths and weaknesses in recoding goods received. This role will be responsible in assisting to track items from order to receiving within the goods inwards area and delivery to the Trust requisition delivery points. To maintain detail of where the goods have travelled to and track items that may have been misplaced/not delivered/incorrectly delivered/incorrectly receipted. The information is to be used to review the efficiency of the goods inwards and assist in assessing risk to the business General Duties To assist in checking goods and audit processing of deliveries into the Trust. To work closely with supply chain colleagues to review goods being delivered and the handling of those goods in terms of receipting and transfer to other areas of the Trust. To maintain an excel spreadsheet to keep track of items that have been misallocated or are incorrectly posted and/or administrated. To work with colleagues in tracking orders to delivery points and consumption within departments of the Trust. To audit goods received to goods consumed. To assist the Accounts Payable controller and Management Accountant - Receiving to process and correct returns/credits/replacements and expired items To assist in receipting goods and dealing with general delivery queries To ensure correct and safe receipt and unloading of all relevant goods arriving at the receipt and distribution point. To check delivery notes to certify correct receipt and to follow up any discrepancies including incorrect deliveries and damaged goods. Receipt goods onto the SBS Finance IT system, generate internal goods received notes and associated actions and get item ready for delivery to end user.
