Network Engineer £20,000 - £35,000 We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer with good networking skills to join a fast-growing wireless ISP providing superfast broadband using microwave radio technology in the Lake District area. They are seeking a resourceful Networking Engineer to assist in 1st 2nd and 3rd line support in the Kendal offices and as well being involved in Networking Development. The working days are Monday to Sunday with one day off, 9:00am – 5:30pm with some flexibility for those who require it. There are 20 days plus bank holidays & public holidays. Key Skills & Experience required: Experience as a Network Engineer 1 Year Experience An IT qualification in networking (degree in Networking, CCNA or equivalent) Previous experience of working in a helpdesk or technical support environment, preferably with ISP Full UK Drivers Licence This role also involves a lot of customer contact and as such, requires an excellent telephone manner and initiative in order to take ownership of all customer queries and take them through to resolution. Key Duties: Resolving customer issues and recognising when to escalate Maintaining the company’s networks and security Maintaining VOIP systems Assisting with ad-hoc projects (network hardware and software) Providing daily activity reports Maintaining the company’s website and hosted websites Apply now for immediate consideration.
