They help their clients to make the best of the digital world, transforming how they work and freeing up specialist staff to deliver outstanding results On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Customer Service Advisor for a 3 Month Rolling Contract contract based in Chester (Remote Working) . Purpose of the Role: To manage and respond to calls from citizens, partner organisations and local authorities, requesting support, information and application to Eligibility Service Funds. To support the delivery of Entitlement Services contract work via online, telephone and postal applications. Act as first point of contact for applicants for the system to allow applications to be input and processed. As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for: To deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence relating to Entitlement Services either by telephone, email or letter Complete transactional telephony and processing tasks for a range of Entitlement Services Deal with and respond to enquiries from clients, citizens and internal colleagues in a positive and professional manner To complete statistical information as instructed by the Entitlement Service Manager To understand the legislation and criteria involved in the Local Welfare Provision services and then give advice and process applications accordingly To work as part of the team in achieving targets set by the Entitlement Service Manager Attend training and other events relevant to develop new skills or to refresh or update existing knowledge and skills Be responsible for meeting personal targets Share your knowledge with others to ensure continuity in your absence, ensuring handover is in place in advance of any planned absence Perform all duties with minimum supervision Maintain an excellent attitude within the Business Centre; acting as an ambassador at all levels, taking on additional duties as and when required. Works closely with the Senior Decision Maker to ensure recording and escalation of information.
