Overview

The IT Engineer will be the single point of contact for all staff in the growing London and US Offices for all IT 1st/2nd Line Support issues including applications, hardware and telephony. Moreover, they will be proactive in identifying the IT needs of the team, resolving day to day issues and on-boarding new members of the team onto the wider IT system. Client Details African based financial services group, offering retail and corporate banking solutions for an international client base. Description Resolving 1st/2nd Line IT issues with hardware, software and telephony. Provide VIP Support to key stakeholders including CEO and CFO. Escalation to the wider IT team based in South Africa. Identifying the hardware needs of the office. Managing existing vendor relationships: Networking / WIFI and Print Management. Setting up mobile devices (android and iOS), Dell desktops / laptops and other hardware. Build and maintain relationships with the wider IT Team predominately based in South Africa. Ensuring all SLA (Service Level Agreements) are met. Present IT issues and resolutions to non-technical stakeholders. Profile High-level of experience with Microsoft Office. Good understanding of Cloud Applications including Office 365 and One drive. Exposure to CRM systems (ideally Sales force). Ability to support Cisco telephony and Xerox Printers. Minimum 3 year's experience in a similar role. Proactive and quick thinker. Ability to work occasionally out of core hours. Self-starter within an independent environment.
