Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer - £46k on call bonus - Warrington A great opportunity to lead a team of Microsoft focused infrastructure analysts - £46,000 on call allowance - Warrington, North West Due to continued expansion, my client who is a leading IT solutions company based in Warrington are looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join their expanding IT team. This is a pivotal role for the business and will offer an excellent amount of variety. This role will take ownership of the Microsoft technology stack within the organisation, working on some excellent projects and leading a team of highly skilled infrastructure analysts. Key Skills: Windows Server 2008-2016 Azure or other cloud technology experience Microsoft Office 365 Windows Terminal services Storage Area Network Technologies (SAN) VMware MCA/MCP certifications would be an advantage ITIL awareness - ideally ITIL certified People management, including line management and development ability Excellent communication and influencing ability As the Lead Infrastructure Engineer you will look after the hybrid cloud based Microsoft technology for the firm and be involved in a range of technical activities such as: Systems maintenance and monitoring Patching, upgrading Incident resolution Ensuring high capacity, availability, continuity and system performance management SharePoint and OneDrive Azure Tenant management Intune Administration/management Be the key point of escalation major incidents relating to the Microsoft stack You will also get a chance to lead a small team of infrastructure analysts, as well as proactively performance manage and develop this team. Salary: Starting salary is from £40,000 - £46,000 £4,000 on-call.
