Overview
Lead Network Engineer - Cisco - CCNP - Warrington Chance to lead two other engineers - £55,000 On Call - Warrington, North West Due to continued expansion, my client who is a leading solutions company based in Warrington are looking for a Lead Network Engineer to join their team. This will be a mixture of Networking and IT security, dealing with some excellent projects. This role will involve being the main point of escalation and leading 2 network engineers As the Lead Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the network and security for the business and their clients. This will include administrating the network security policies, design and configuration of switches and routers, network boundaries (LAN/WAN/WiFi/Public Internet). Additionally, you will also maintain the perimeter security configuration and boundaries and carry out vulnerability audits and scans. As the Senior Network Security Engineer, some penetration testing will also be required to identify risks. Other duties will include secure remote access, email security, intrusion detection, content security and endpoint security. Key Skills: CCNP qualified Cisco - Confident in design and configuration of Cisco Switches, Routers, Wireless, Firewalls, Remote Access Threat Detection / Intrusion - IPS / IDS / AMP / URL Filtering Load Balancers - F5, Layer 4/7 LAN / WAN/ WiFi / Public Internet Penetration Testing experience ideally Knowledge of BGP/ OSP/ IPSec / SSL / EIGRP / DAI Inspection / DHCP / Port Security / IP Source Guard Protocol Analysis - Wireshank / Netflow / SNMP / Syslog Understanding of IT Security such as PCI / GDPR / ISO9001 / ISO27001 / ISO22301 compliance Salary: Starting salary is from £45,000 - £55,000 £5,000 On-call - The company offer excellent benefits including flexible working and fantastic working environment.
