Overview
Sharp consultancy are delighted to be working with an established and growing SME company that is based in the city centre of Sheffield. This team require an experienced CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified financial controller to join their organisation during this exiting time of growth for the business. You will work closely with the CFO to ensure accurate and timely reporting, especially in regards to the budget plans. As part of this role you will play a key role in working alongside both finance and non-finance divisions to make sure everything is in line with internal business models. The main duties include; Overseeing the managing of monthly budget forecasting Produce statutory accounts Daily, Weekly and Monthly report preparation Annual budget preparation and forecasting Managing and developing the finance team Implementing financial controls Partnering with the managers across the business to deliver business results Oversee the balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts Consolidating reports for the group Ideally you will have; ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification Previous experience within a Financial Controller/Finance Manager position Advanced excel skills Ability to build strong relationships with non-finance colleagues Proactive and analytical mind-set Able to analyse information with problem solving abilities Group exposure would be advantageous although not essential The successful candidate will enjoy real autonomy in this role and with great visibility for further progression.
