Description DLA Piper, an international leading law firm, currently on its transitional journey of becoming the law firm of the future, embracing change, investing in and driving modern initiatives, including vast support of data management in all areas of the business, is looking for a Management Accountant who is going to join our established Management Information team, sitting within our finance centre of excellence in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, who will be passionate about data and financial reporting, encompassed with excellent attention to detail and proactive manner. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with building a triage process for ad hoc requests for information from the business Preparation of various monthly management information including Client MI, Dashboard reporting, KPIs, and other monthly / weekly reports Prioritisation of regular and ad hoc requests for reporting, financial information and analysis Be a point of contact in central finance for your area of responsibility including responding to queries and information requests Provide support to projects and other finance teams as required Provide direct support to management accountants and senior finance management on ad-hoc assignments including the collation of information for reports and presentations Management & Mentoring of an assistant within the team ABOUT YOU Essential: Advanced excel skills Self-motivated, logical and organised approach to work Keen eye for detail Agile & proactive Qualified / Newly qualified accountant - CIMA Desirable: Proven track record in data manipulation, with experience in creation of reports Experience of working with BI software such as SAP Business Intelligence solutions A working understanding of databases ABOUT US DLA Piper is a global law firm with lawyers located in more than 40 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
