Overview

Job Title: Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Location : Uckfield Salary: £12k per annum Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am- 5.00pm Our client based in Uckfield, is looking to recruit an office Administrator to ensure smooth running of the Branch and provide administrative support. Responsibilities. Sorting incoming and outgoing post and DX and putting into appropriate trays Providing reception cover when needed Entering deeds, wills and powers of attorney onto data base and securely storing them in the strong room Carrying out 6-monthly audits on deeds wills and powers of attorney removed from strong room File filleting and closing in readiness for electronic archiving Check PFW for undertakings/outstanding appointments and calculate interest payable where applicable before closing files and signing off file closure forms Preparing closed files for archiving and retrieving from archive centre if required Carrying out banking procedures including paying in cheques received in that day Maintaining petty cash and preparing expense sheets to be balanced at end of month Dealing with engineers and workmen when called in to work in premises Maintaining fire alarm records and responsible for system working efficiently Maintaining two weekly health & safety, and fire safety checks Ordering stationery on a weekly basis Ordering kitchen and food supplies for the branch Provide refreshments for clients if necessary Ensure all client facing areas are kept to a high standard Assisting the IT Department when possible To assist with any other ad hoc office support tasks as they arrive Personal Specification.
