As a proactive & influential Senior Commercial Analyst, you will be a key member of our Cost Transformation Finance Team - supporting Bupa's UK Insurance (UKI) business unit. What you'll be doing… You will be working closely with senior stakeholders across Bupa UK Insurance to set ambitious but achievable budget targets and develop and track pathways to achieve them, over a 3-year time horizon. The role will evolve over time and provide variety via working with different business functions (and these may change in future) and working on projects. What's a typical day? Business partnering role in cost management across multiple business functions, supporting senior leaders to get optimal value from their budgets. Financial planning & reporting on a c.£25m p.a. cost base and c.450 FTE. Supporting financial planning & controls in the analysis of healthcare claims costs. Supporting commercial prioritisation and success of Healthcare Leadership Savings of c.£10m p.a. including building robust forecasts and plans. Build, strengthen and maintain stakeholder relationships at Director level, with the ability to be tenacious and challenging when required. Analyse, advise and assess business cases, calculating ROIs, holding approval authority on business cases and subsequently being accountable for tracking financial benefits on those cases that are approved for delivery. Ensure process controls and KPIs are in place to monitor key business drivers. Who we're looking for? CIMA qualified professional with 2 - 3 years PQE. Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting to stakeholders (Board level to front line.) Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to push back & challenge when required. Ambitious with a desire to progress and establish a career within Bupa. Pro-active; keen to develop and learn new skills. What's it like to work here?
