My client hopes to find an individual who has previous experience from a building trade or similar, to join them as a Yards Person/ Delivery Driver. The company is growing at such a rate, that they anticipate the right individual to hit the ground running, someone who has passion and an entrepreneurial quality to drive the business forward would posses the correct qualities for this role. As the company is built on the foundations of relationship building with all of their customers, you would be required to continue to grow and nurture these relationships with a helpful and friendly demeanour at all times. Attributes required for the role: Experience from a building trade would be desirable Possess a Counterbalance Forklift truck licence (essential) Full clean driving licence Duties to include but no limited too: Merchandising/restocking of yard Picking stock for deliveries/collections Conducting local deliveries General housekeeping and cleanliness of the yard Assisting with site visits and collections in a 3.5 tonne side loader vehicle Processing customer queries via email/phone/yard Willing to work extra if and when required General administration Ensuring safe storage and working practices are followed All training, uniform and PPE are provided. Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK and will be subject to a 3-month trial to determine suitability. Hours of work 5 days per week, between Mon - Fri 8-5pm and Sat, 10:00 - 17:00 (you will be required to work 2x Saturdays per month and will receive a day off in lieu the following week. For you hard work you will be rewarded with a percentage of a profit-based bonus scheme and starting salary of £18,000pa.
