Finance Manager
Overview
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Finance Manager to join an organisation based in the Birmingham area on a permanent or temporary to permanent basis. The Finance Manager will report directly into the Finance Director handling end to end management accounts, year end accounts, audit queries in addition to direct supervision of two finance assistants. Further Duties of the role include: - Persons needs to hit the ground running with excellent IT skills (Accounting Packages Excel) - Be able to streamline / improve and implement system improvements & internal controls - Produce Management accounts all the way to Final Accounts & Budgets - Provide clear financial analysis that supports any development projects including feasibility studies, options appraisals, financial models and business cases The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, or nearly qualified, ideally from a public sector background, however candidates from the private sector will be considered. - Possess the ability to learn quickly and adapt to the role ideally with Charity experience - Ability to build good relationships with non -finance staff - Ability to Coach, Mentor and performance Manage 2 Direct reports staff - Ability to do Monthly Payroll - Good Communication/Influencing skills/presentation skills
