Overview
1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer - London A leading MSP company based in Marylebone with clients predominantly involved in Hedge Funds and Asset Management is required is currently recruiting for an 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer with to provide on-site support. You must have relevant experience in Wintel technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory and solid Cisco networking capabilities, preferably with experience in the MSP / Financial sector. Key Skills: 3 year's commercial experience Windows Server VMWare Office 365 / Active Directory Exchange Group Policy (DNS/DHCP) Networking: Cisco LAN/WAN, routing and switches, Fortinet Firewall Cloud capabilities with Azue/AWS Support and hands-on knowledge of Security Desktop technologies: Windows, Office, Bloomberg SQL SharePoint VPN support Desirable: Experience within the MSP/Financial sector MCSE/MCSA CCNA Asset Management/Hedge Fund/VIP Support experience The company is a Microsoft Gold Partner and Cisco partner and are looking for expertise to provide a service for their clients who knows their business and to show true determinism to finding the best solutions when on-site. Roles and responsibilities: Providing 2nd line support for all clients, either on-site or remote troubleshooting when required Supporting servers, security systems and networks in desktop environments Using a ticketing system to document progress through reported issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and all SLA's are met Providing detailed documentation to a high standard Showing an analytical approach in resolving technical issues Delivering technical expertise to clients with strong communication skills Completing diagnosis of reported issues using documented procedures or escalating technical issues to 3rd line support Provide support in Microsoft environments and deliver excellent customer service With offices in London and Watford, the client prides itself in supporting clients achieve their goals and believe that firms should receive the same level of quality service that they would give to their own clients.
